Mettle training (Virtual or in person)

For those needing a more personal, intimate experience or just some extra motivation, METTLE’s personal training services are tailored for the commuter or work from home professional. We travel to homes, parks, or your preferred gym with in-person training, and can also can bring METTLE’s expertise live over video. METTLE’s new virtual personal training is an effective way to achieve your health and fitness goals anywhere through Google Meet or Zoom. You have the unique opportunity to work one-on-one with Mettle and be seen in real time from anywhere in the world!

For those simply looking build a healthier lifestyle through diet and healthy eating, we have Nutrition Consulting. Each consultation takes up to an hour and is designed to implement one or more maintainable dietary changes at a time in order to create an overall healthier lifestyle.

The NASM Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) program is built on a proven, evidence-based training model that prepares you for real-world situations. Practical and application-focused content is presented in an easy-to-understand format. You'll master complex scientific principles and be prepared to accept the challenge of the certification exam.

SGX is a community of fitness and health professionals who have earned the Spartan SGX certification and aspire to be true life-changers. United by the Spartan way of life, SGX coaches are found in Australia, Canada, France, Great Britain, Italy, Mexico, Spain and the United States; as well as Belgium, Dominican Republic, Hungary, Luxembourg, Mexico, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, South Korea, Sweden and Switzerland.

Of the thousand participants in the SGX workshop, several hundred can call themselves certified SGX coaches. They attended a rigorous workshop and passed a challenging written examination demonstrating their knowledge of the SGX philosophy, principles and program. They know that fitness, health and wellness are inextricably linked, so they take a holistic coaching approach, to address clients’ physical, mental, emotional and social well-being.

Exercising during and post pregnancy requires specialized knowledge and a focused attention to ensure safety of the mother and baby. As an AFPA Certified Prenatal & Postnatal Fitness Specialist, Mettle addresses maternity health as well as properly addresses common prenatal and postnatal concerns. We can  teach you evidence-based exercises and fitness goals that are important to include in exercise programs for women who are prenatal, pregnant, or postpartum. We will help you recognize the symptoms of overtraining in both the mother and the fetus. We recommend and demonstrate exercises for relieving discomfort and relief of symptoms for the pregnant participant such as selecting  and integrating mind-body exercises, effective breathing, and relaxation techniques into an exercise program for pregnant women integrate a variety of small exercise apparatus into group and one-on-one sessions. We design appropriate exercises for prenatal, pregnant, and postpartum clients in the personal training setting discuss the changing nutritional needs for prenatal women in each stage of pregnancy.
